Our Experience with Lenus Clinic: Step-by-Step
After having noticed some excellent Lenus hair transplant reviews, we decided the time had come to take a closer look at this clinic. While customer reviews are always a great benefit, there are other factors to be taken into consideration when rating hair transplant clinics. Here I (Sarah) will take an all-inclusive look at Lenus Clinic.
As always, I started by heading to their website. I found that the information provided was comprehensive without going into unnecessary detail. Lenus also proudly displays its rating scores from Google Maps, Trustpilot and Proven Expert, all scoring a 4.9 when we checked in October 2023.
My assessment involved a close examination of the booking process. Regrettably, the website did not provide any information regarding costs or the availability of various service packages. Upon clicking the “Consultation” button, a concise five-step questionnaire prompted users to specify their gender and the location of their hair thinning. Subsequently, we received a response via WhatsApp within an hour.
While I opted out of a video call, the assistance provided remained amicable and informative. I was promptly furnished with comprehensive information about the consultation procedure, service packages, associated costs, and the intricate details of the surgical operation.

At Lenus Hair Transplant Clinic in Turkey, patients can expect a team of 6 members that look after them. The team consists of coordinators, doctors, and other medical staff, such as nurses. Although the majority of the staff speak English, your translator will stay with you for the entirety of the procedure.
The hair transplant will take between 6 – 8 hours. It takes place in a fully equipped hospital room, under local anaesthesia. Your scalp is numbed by a device using air pressure while the anaesthesia is administered for minimum pain.

Aftercare is a vital part of a hair transplant and should be made up of regular consultations, post-op medications and care products, as a minimum. The package you have chosen will determine the amount of products that you receive. The Standard Package includes medical shampoo and foam for a month. The Diamond Package gives clinics a 6-month supply of medical shampoo, foam, lotion, and multivitamins.
Lenus Clinic recommends using its products for a year and will sell what is not included in the price while you are there. It would be wise to ask about this before you leave, as the cost can be more than you budgeted for. You will be given a medical neck pillow for sleeping and any medication needed. As the anaesthesia starts to wear off, it is not uncommon to have some pain, so you will receive pain medication. Both packages also include a PRP treatment, and a blood plasma treatment to aid speedy healing.
The day after the hair transplant, clients will be transported back to Lenus for a post-op check. A professional will also wash your hair and explain how to do it properly.

It was hard to find a lot of fault with the Lenus hair transplant hospital in Turkey. They tick a lot of the boxes necessary and score high on customer satisfaction. The score is a first-rate 4/5.
The decision to get a hair transplant is not one to be taken lightly. It is a deeply personal journey that is often marred by negative stigma, thanks to the legacy of long-outdated hair plugs. Thanks to clinics like Lenus, where customer satisfaction and personal attention are paramount, hair transplants are now more widely acceptable.
Many people who are exploring the option of having the procedure would like to conduct research on the Internet, without speaking to a clinic until they have made a decision. It is for this reason that we like to see comprehensive included on clinic sites with regard to what the patient could expect, both during the operation and afterwards, as well as an indication of costs. This is one area that Lenus could improve on. That being said, once you do contact them, most of these questions are answered immediately.
Another area that improvement is hair care products. Ensuring that you use shampoos and lotions designed for hair transplant patients is important, as is how you treat your hair leading up to the transplant. I had a hair transplant on 2/22/25 . Hotel and rid arrangements was good. Staff was very good. But I saw few negative things. 1) they took blood test 10 minutes before hair transplant. According to other clinics online they take blood test one day before surgery. 2) During the procedure thw female nurse cleaned all hair transplant tools with regular tap water and returned it back into her poch. Medically unhygienic and unsafe. I reported to my coordinator sinem. 3) the female nurse also had her mask half on and half off, she was talking throughout the entire process. It could contaminate the wound or the medical equipments.

My initial hesitation about traveling to Turkey (my first long-distance international trip) quickly disappeared thanks to Lenus’s comprehensive support system. The clinic literally thought of everything – from arranging my hotel accommodations to coordinating airport transfers. They even connected me with a travel agent who helped book my flights with LOT Airlines, which provided outstanding service that surpassed any domestic flying experience I’ve had.

On procedure day, I met Beyza, who guided me through registration with warmth and professionalism. The medical team, led by the surgeon, took time to explain everything. They carefully marked out the treatment areas and ensured I was comfortable throughout the procedure. The actual transplant was surprisingly comfortable – I even dozed off several times! The only mild discomfort came during the initial numbing process, which they managed by using a smaller needle first to minimize any pain.
Post-procedure care was equally impressive. They provided lunch and sent me back to the hotel with a comprehensive care package including special pillows, pain medication, anti-swelling medication, antibiotics, and specialized shampoo. I’m scheduled for a follow-up tomorrow for bandage removal and hair washing instructions.
What sets Lenus apart is their commitment to handling every detail of the patient experience. They’ve created a seamless process that takes all the stress out of what could otherwise be an overwhelming medical journey abroad. I was a bit apprehensive before arriving. Absolutely no need upon arrival. Taxi waiting for the hotel.which was lovely by the way. Everybody at the clinic made me feel so at ease. And the lady that guided me through the whole procedure became like family. Fantastic results, fantastic people, fantastic hotel, I just cannot rate the whole Lenus clinic procedure highly enough.

Amazing service from the initial contact with Alice to the final send off by Beyza. Inbetween, everything ran like clockwork, the transfers from the airport to the hotel to the hospital and and back were on time.
It’s natural to feel nervous when you go to another country for treatment but Lenus has nailed it. I must say that Beyza made me feel at home and was with me every step of the way.
The technicians were very experienced and I always felt comfortable during the procedure.
It’s the next day and I’m feeling well, much better than I thought I would. Having spoken to others having a hair transplant they too were impressed with Lenus. Well done to all the team!
