From the beginning of the process to the end, Ideal Of MeD was beyond helpful. From my initial correspondence, inquiring about the hair transplant, I shortly received a phone call based off the pictures I submitted. I was told about what procedure what be best for me and the state of my hair’s health as well as how many grafts I would get. Fast forward to arriving at the airport in Istanbul. Picked up and taken to my hotel efficiently. The whole time prior to and while in Istanbul, your assigned team is actively messaging you and letting you know what the next step in your process is. All the admin work and labs are done the same day as your procedure. Everything was moving at a great speed along with answering any questions I had along the way. Designing my hairline was done in a way that I could understand and went into the science of where the hairline should stop based off a muscle in your face but ultimately was told I could have whatever hairline I desired. I opted for what was natural for my face and what made sense. The procedure was done with care and no pain. I was fed and given directions once the procedure was complete. The following day was recovery and further guidance on how to take care of my transplant. I am 18 days post operation and still have access to the assigned team for questions and continuous information to best take care of my transplant. Everyone was great from the drivers to the hotel I was put up in, to the staff at the facility and to my designated Ideal of MeD superstar Sevin. Great overall experience and would recommend.

The team was a good as it gets. You are always accompanied for everything, and they help with the translation at all time, on top of being very friendly.

My hair transplant journey with IdealOfMed began with a video consultation with Halim. From the start, he was superb—polite, highly informative, and, most importantly, very patient, taking the time to answer all my questions.

During my research, I had consultations with multiple clinics in both Istanbul and the UK. However, IdealOfMed stood out because they weren’t pushy or constantly trying to secure a booking. Instead, their approach was professional, and their excellent online reviews for the procedure, aftercare, and results reassured me.

Once I decided to go ahead with them, the whole booking process was seamless. They provided clear instructions and required details in a highly organised and personal manner, even setting up a private WhatsApp group with everyone involved in my procedure.

I arrived in Istanbul on 24/01/25, where I was promptly met by a private transfer and taken to my hotel—Sheraton Istanbul City Centre. The hotel was fantastic, offering 5-star service and breakfast included.

On 25/01/25, my private transfer picked me up again and took me to the clinic, where I was greeted by Aryan, my personal assistant for the entire process. From the outset, Aryan was friendly, informative, and, above all, honest—something I really valued.

At the clinic, I underwent pre-medical checks, had photos taken, my hairline designed, and my head shaved. They gave me plenty of time to ask any final questions and discussed realistic expectations based on my hair loss.

The procedure itself lasted around 7-8 hours. For me, the anaesthetic injections were quite painful, but fortunately, the discomfort only lasted a few seconds.

After the operation, the aftercare was exceptional. I felt a bit light-headed and exhausted, but they provided food and drinks throughout the day to help me recover. Aryan was by my side for most of it, ensuring I had a sugary drink and snack before I left. He wouldn’t let me go until they were certain I was back to normal—an extra level of care that I really appreciated.

Once again, a private transfer took me back to my hotel, where I was provided with a neck pillow and detailed post-op instructions.

On 27/01/25, I returned to the clinic for my first hair wash. They carefully removed the bandages, washed my hair, and provided me with medication, along with clear guidance on how and when to take it.

I was also advised to download the Hair Back App, which has been incredibly useful. It offers daily medication reminders, a place to upload progress photos, and great post-op tips.

Now, two weeks post-op, I’m back in the UK. The scabs have cleared, the swelling has gone down, and everything is progressing as expected. The hair is looking good so far, and I’m excited to see the results over the coming months.

Overall, my experience with IdealOfMed has been fantastic. The aftercare continues to be excellent via the WhatsApp group and the Hair Back App. I’m really pleased with my decision and looking forward to the rest of my hair restoration journey.

IdealofMed has been very helpful throughout this whole process, from when I was inquiring to even now post surgery. There are always getting back to me with whichever question or help I need. They helped me understand exactly how the procedure was going to go and I was able to understand the whole process. After showed interest, I got contacted by Cem at the clinic in Istanbul. He told me all about the procedure and answered all of my questions. He also talked swedish, so no risk for misunderstandings. That gave me a good feeling, and made me make my final decision about IdealofMeD.

I am satisfied from the start until the end. Everything worked out fine, transportation, operation, hotel and so on. I got all information through the treatment that I needed. The staff was kind and professional. After I got home, the clinic sent me more information about the after treatment. I can really recommend Idealof MeD for hair transplantation. Väldigt omhändertagande personal. Gjort 3200 graft för ett par veckor sedan så inväntar resultat. Det är inte klinikens grej men jag saknade info om efterbehandling, sk PRP. Detta är något som starkt rekommenderas. Så tycker då att man skulle belyst detta hårdare. För det tillkommer lite kostnader efteråt. Annars hittills helnöjd med allt.

I recently had my Hair transplant here and the experience was worth it. I truly felt cared for throughout the whole process. Had to remove 1 star because during the operation someone’s was coming and leaving the operation room which was quite irritating to be completely honest. Except for this one thing the rest of the experience was great! Looking forward to my hair growing out fully.

I had my first treatment a year ago and was so pleased with the results for the area at the front. I went back in Jan 2025 for the crown. Initially they thought they could get 2500 grafts but in the end they managed 4700. It’s 2weeks since I had it and I can tell it will be even better than the first session. They were great from booking to picking you up and sorting a lovely hotel each time. To dropping you off and reviewing photos at various stages. If anyone else s thinking about having it done I can thoroughly recommend IdealifMed. Also the cost was incredible value.
