The consultation was thorough and personalised. Rex took the time to assess my hair loss pattern, examine my donor area, and discuss my goals in detail.

The whole process can be extremely stressful so I considered it very important to have help on hand to answer questions or concerns which the Wimpole clinic excel in. The staff who performed the procedure were excellent and very welcoming making you feel at ease throughout.

My experience with the wimpole clinic was 1st class. Right from the get go making an appointment, the day of the procedure itself and the aftercare. The day of the procedure I arrived at the ponteland clinic knowing what to expect as I’d had 2 previous procedures done else where. Everything was explained in detail and I met the staff who would be carrying out the work and was made comfortable straight away. Once we were under way they were so meticulous, professional and quick with their work while looking after me the whole time. Once the procedure was over I was back home and Mathu my consultant has been in touch regularly checking in and helping me with aftercare as I said. The whole experience with the wimpole clinic has been fantastic and I will and have already recommended them to friends and I can’t praise them enough. Thank you.

Amazing experience from the very beginning with Rex with my consultation. I felt extremely comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. The entire team have been fantastic with Dr Kalra, John, Sandy and Terry. They took their time to explain every procedure and constantly made sure I was feeling 100% the whole time and looked after me every step of the way. Simone was professional and helpful when I made my initial appointment for a consultation. I liked the clinic, which was clean and friendly from the start. There were a good number of other patients there which was reassuring. The age range of patients was 20s to 60s. The advice was very considered and professional and all my questions were properly answered. The location is excellent in Harley Street, And I must say there was a certain feel good factor in the whole process.

The day of the transplant came, and I arrived at 0930. Dr Barry and Reza were the medics who attended to me. The process was pain free, and the two medics worded tirelessly to complete my procedure. I had 2,050 FUE hair grafts and the process was finished by 1700. I decided to have a couple of diazepam and I dozed off during the transplant a couple of times. During the surgery the business owner (a medic himself) visited to keep an eye on his surgery, which was quite comforting. Lunch was great and by 7pm I was in an Uber heading for home.

6 weeks later, the surgery has been 100% successful with no swelling to report. I was very pleased with my decision to opt for the FUE surgery.

The entire team from initial consultation with Marie through to the procedure under Dr Ricardo and the technicians Sumon and Ivana were very professional and made me feel at ease. It is early days to comment on the results but I feel confident that it will have met my expectations.

From beginning to end, the Wimpole team was fantastic. Dr Barry was very informative in the consultation and helped me feel a lot more comfortable and knowledgeable going into the operation. The operation itself was smooth, practically painless after the first 5-10 minutes, and so relaxing that I fell asleep once or twice. Dr Barry himself did an excellent job, and his team (Reza, Jaryn, Claudia) were all top quality and very friendly. At every stage of the day from extraction to insertion I felt I was in very good hands. Special mention also has to go to Simone, who guided me excellently in the first consultation and who has provided attentive aftercare, checking in daily and being on hand for any questions I have. It is still early days (3 weeks since the procedure) but so far so good. I trust the process and feel very optimistic about the results.

I have used the Wimpole clinic twice to restore significant hair loss. On both occasions the initial consultations were very helpful and managed my expectations. As I was new to this treatment, she provided a lot of support, making me feel comfortable and reassured from the very first consultation. She took the time to explain how my treatment would work and helped me understand its significance, which made me feel confident that I had made the right choice.

Her care and attentiveness continued not just during the procedure, but also before, during, and after—even two weeks later, she was still checking in to make sure I was doing well. She was always quick to respond on WhatsApp, addressing any concerns or questions I had about my treatment, which was really helpful.

Marie was kind, professional, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience feel like I was with a friend rather than just a practitioner. I felt very well cared for, and this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a treatment setting.
